Paper, Ink, and Tea

Come and enjoy the art of Chinese, Japanese and Armenian calligraphy. At the event you can experience calligraphy set including ink brush, ink stone, brush holder, paper blanket, and stamp with red ink, while tasting different kinds of tea such as jasmine tea, chrysanthemum and goji tea, Suutei tea (mild tea from Mongolia), and white tea. Everyone will have the opportunity to participate in the art calligraphy if interested.

Multicultural Speed-Friending

At this event, Office of Residential Services will be facilitating a fun, fast-paced, speed-friending activity. This will give students the chance to meet many other members of the TC community while also learning much more about them. Snacks and food from multiple cultures will also be served.

Mujaan - The Craftsman

How does one continue the way of life of their ancestors? Come and watch Mujaan (The Craftsman), a twenty-five-minute documentary on how a Mongolian nomad has built their yurts by hand for the past 1,000 years.

Come and join the Teachers College Taiwanese Club for a screening of a documentary film featuring important Taiwanese contemporary narratives. Let it be is a story about a farmer and his beloved land and water buffalo that entails the roots of Taiwanese livelihood. It offers a narrative that greatly represent the beliefs and identities of Taiwanese people today.
